The USA Weightlifting ATHLETE You've never heard of...

Since his arrival at The Dirty Gym, Drake has excelled as an Athlete in the sport of Weightlifting. He's quickly achieved notoriety in the sport with a State Championship win and a new State record in the clean and jerk in 2016. In 2017, Drake pushed his training to new heights working with our fellow National Coaches at Pinnacle Weightlifting Club. Drake qualified for, and won, the University National Championship for the 105 Kg weight class in 2017. Because of this, Drake was also selected to represent Team USA at the 2017 Summer Universiade in Taipei (Taiwan) where he finished overall 10th place. Drake is the current Director of the Dayton Weightlifting Club.

I grew up in Dayton. Left for College in 2013, and after playing football for 2 years at the University of Saint Francis I knew I wanted to pursue an athletic and coaching career. Not just in one sport but across all strength sports, and luckily found The Dirty Gym.
