“ You wanna be on that Susan Salazar level... then you better do what she does.”
We all need some inspiration from time to time, to stay focused on our own goals, both personally and competitively. My number one inspiration, the person I look to and say, “That's the level I want to be on”, is IFBB pro and world record breaking Powerlifter Susan Salazar. She is an absolute monster. Susan was introduced to body building in 2002 and turned IFBB pro in 2009, she made the transition to competing in Women's Physique in 2012. That same year she competed in her first raw Powerlifting meet where she totaled 804 and has been crushing shit ever since. Susan still trains for and competes in both Women's Physique and Powerlifting, she currently holds the women's 123 all time world record total at 1000 lbs and world record deadlift at 425lbs. Oh ya, and it's her birthday today!
